Mariah White, Miss Black Teen Texas & Ebony Andrews, Miss Black Maryland US Ambassador win NATIONAL TITLES
Atlanta, GA - June 28, 2015 - The evening of Saturday, June 27 at the Rialto Center for the Arts in Atlanta, Georgia, the Miss Black US Ambassador Scholarship Pageant held its 2015 National Pageant. Mariah White was crowned Miss Black Teen US Ambassador 2015 and Ebony Andrews was crowned Miss Black US Ambassador 2015. Vince Bailey, the voice of the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream, and Brandi Cohen, actress, voice over artist, whose appeared on shows including USA Network's "Necessary Roughness" and TV One's "The Rickey Smiley Show" hosted the competition.
Mariah White, Teen Texas, resides in Dallas, Texas; she is gearing up for her freshman year of college at Southern Methodist University (SMU). During her time as Miss Black Teen Texas US Ambassador, Mariah, advocated for her platform: Mighty Fine Arts - bringing music and fine arts programs to communities at a low/free cost to ensure cultural awareness.
Newly crowned Miss Black US Ambassador 2015, Ebony Andrews, represented Maryland at the National Pageant. During her time as Miss Black Maryland US Ambassador, Ebony advocated for her platform: Empowered Me: Living with Purpose on Purpose. She is an alumna of the Morehouse School of Medicine. Ebony currently works as a Sports Programming and Communications Fellow.
The 2015 National Pageant, featured contestants from across the United States and District of Columbia that competed in four categories: Panel Interview and Community Service Presentation, Fitness, Evening Gown, and On-stage question. The final pageant ended with Ciara Thompson, Miss Black Teen US Ambassador 2014 and Cearah Hamilton, Miss Black US Ambassador 2014 crowning their successors. Miss Black Teen US Ambassador 2015 and Miss Black US Ambassador 2015 began their first day with their official briefings.

The Final Results:
TEEN First Runner Up: Brianna Harmon/Teen Florida will assume the duties of Miss Black Teen US Ambassador 2015 if for some reason Miss Black Teen US Ambassador cannot fulfill her duties.
MISS First Runner Up: Caroline Bennett/Oklahoma, will assume the duties of Miss Black US Ambassador 2015 if for some reason Miss Black US Ambassador cannot fulfill her duties.

The Community Builder Award is an award voted on by the contestants themselves. This award is given to the state ambassador who reflects the respect and admiration of her peers, and who has been voted as the most con- genial, charismatic and inspirational participant.
