On Saturday, July 9, Archie won the national title of Miss Black US Ambassador 2016. Ruby Archienette Stewart is a native of Opelika, Alabama and a graduate of Opelika High School. In 2016 she graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology.
Archie is currently the Community Director for the non-profit organization, Glam Camp for Girls, the founder of Pinky Promise UAB, and she is a proud member of the Iota Phi chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Archie also works at PNC Bank and is a show choir choreographer.
Prior to winning the national title, Archie represented the state of Alabama as Miss Black Alabama US Ambassador. Archie will spend her year traveling across the country promoting her platform, CROWNed. CROWNed focuses on the leadership and self esteem development of young ladies ages 13-18. This past June, Archie successfully hosted the first annual CROWNed Conference in Birmingham, Alabama.
